Acquisition of CREATON, a major player in clay and concrete roof tiles in Germany and Eastern Europe. Terreal formalizes its leading position in the clay market in Europe.

Creation of the “Demain, Tous Solaire” program.

TITAN project: modernization of PTC (Pole Tile Center) factories and reduction of 10.5% in their energy consumption, i.e. a reduction in CO2 emissions of 4500T / year.

Modernisation of the plant of La Pera (Spain): new production line of rectified bricks.

Acquisition of the PICA (Italy) brand and acquisition of 51% of GSE Intégration (France), photovoltaic and aerovoltaic specialist.

The company leaves Saint-Gobain to become the Terreal Group. In the same year, we established sales offices in China.

Saint-Gobain Terreal formed from the merger of the three companies. Acquisition of US firm Ludowici. Sales offices established in UK.
